Donate food

Antrim Foodbank relies on your goodwill and continued support

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

Tesco PCPs (permanent collection points) are intended for food that has been purchased in-store, ie “in-store shoppers only”.  This is because the in-store donations are weighed and then topped up by Tesco by a further 20%.

Any food that has been purchased elsewhere and brought into the PCP at Tesco store,  should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby food banks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages.  This ensures your donations go to help people in crisis wherever in Northern Ireland they are.

Please contact us if you would like to know more about how, and why, to donate to Antrim Foodbank.
