MPDA Hub, Ballycraigy – A Visit from Robin Swann MP

8th October 2025

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming local MP Robin Swann to the Antrim Foodbank at the MPDA hub in Ballycraigy.

Robin took the time to meet with volunteers, hear real stories from local families, and learn more about the broader support offered by Antrim Foodbank — not just food parcels, but also practical help, advice, and a listening ear when it’s needed most.

On his social media, Robin shared his reflections on the visit:

“A really engaging and insightful morning with Antrim Foodbank. Such an important and valuable service that operates across Antrim with advice centres and support on top of the food parcels offered to those who need it. Thank you to everybody who shared their experiences with me.”

We’re grateful to Robin for taking the time to engage with our community and see first-hand the realities so many people are facing — and also the vital work being done quietly behind the scenes by volunteers and staff.

The MPDA hub in Ballycraigy continues to be a safe and welcoming space for individuals and families in need, and we’re proud to be part of a network that uplifts and supports our neighbours when times get tough.

💚 If you or someone you know is struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Help is here.
💬 And if you’d like to volunteer or support Antrim Foodbank, we’d love to hear from you!
