The funding for Oasis Antrim ran out in December 2023. The demand for Antrim Foodbank continues regardless, as will the work we do to help build a #HungerFreeFuture

Thanks NFU!

24th September 2021

A big #FoodbankFriday thank you to our friends at NFU Mutual Crumlin with whose help we have been able to buy new A-board signs for our Warehouse and distribution centres at High StreetParkhall and Muckamore.

Antrim Foodbank Manager, Fionnuala O’Donnell, said:

This month, we’ve had clients report that administrative delays with free school meals and uniform grants have added to their back-to-school burden.  In turn, the anticipated dip in demand at Antrim Foodbank simply hasn’t materialised, indeed it is up 139%* on the same time last year, leaving our stocks severely depleted.

We are incredibly grateful to local businesses, like NFU Mutual Crumlin agency, who continue to support Antrim Foodbank as we work to build a Hunger Free Future.

TOGETHER WE CAN HELP BUILD A #HUNGERFREEFUTURE

*In August 2020, Antrim Foodbank helped feed 123 people in our Town – including 59 children.  In August 2021, Antrim Foodbank helped feed 294 people in our Town – including 146 children.  That is an increase of 139%.
